Riyadh Season presents Anthony Joshua taking on Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight championship of the world at Wembley stadium which could see Anthony Joshua create history if he leaves Wembley victorious as he will become a 3 time heavyweight champion of the world. This is something however, Daniel Dubois will look to stop as he intents to retain his IBF world title and get an eventual rematch with former 2 division undisputed champion Oleskander Usyk.

Anthony Joshua is a superstar and has become one of, if not the face of boxing throughout the years and we have seen the many ups of his career such as beating Vladimir Klitcheko and becoming heavyweight champion but we have also see the lows of his career, losing to Andy Ruiz and losing twice to Usyk. However, in his last few fights, under Ben Davison, we have seen the return of that furious and deadly Anthony Joshua with him getting devastating knockouts over Francis Ngannou and dominating performances against Otto Wallin and Robert Helenius.

Daniel Dubois is coming off two great wins against FIlip Hrgovic and Jarell Miller where he beat both fighters by TKO. He won the IBF interim title which was then transfered into the IBF world championship. Dubois is the ‘new breed’ of heavyweight as he is 27 years of age however, he is vastly experienced for his age, going up against Oleksander Usyk in a bout many believe Dubois should have been given the victory against Usyk due to a body shot which rendered Usyk unable to continue at the time however, was deemed as a shot below the belt.

This is the biggest stage in Dubois career, fighting at a sold out Wembley stadium and it could cement his legacy by beating Anthony Joshua on such a high stakes event. Will he able to survive the pressure that comes with that though, that’s the question will be answered on Saturday night. For Anthony Joshua, this is one of the most important fights of his career, as a win will gain him his 3rd world championship and with Usyk and Fury taking place in December, could line Joshua up with a huge payday in the future.

Prediction – Anthony Joshua via KO

I believe that Anthony Joshua will get this done via KO. I believe his experience on such a stage will show and he will remain calm and composed whereas Dubois is going over commit in the later stages of the fight when he gets fatigued which will cause AJ to land and send Daniel Dubois to sleep.

Make sure you check out Joshua vs Dubois live on DAZN PPV on Saturday 21st September and let us know your predictions for the fight and who do you think is going to win.
