Tatsuro Taira defeats Alex Perez in the second round via TKO due to a injury sustained by Perez in his knee. Tatsuro Taira had Perez in the body triangle position which he then turned into a lean back takedown from the triangle. While doing this, his crossed Perez wrist which allowed him to lean back which caused leverage to the knee which caused the injury to Perez. Perez was outlanding in the first round however, Taira looked extremely comfortable and was seen to have taken Perez down as soon as he wanted to.

Taira then called out Pantoja who is free at the moment however, Muhammad Mokaev is facing Manel Kape in Manchester at UFC 304 who is seen to get the next title shot if he defeats Kape. Both Mokaev and Taira and two of the best under 25 fighters in the world and seem that they are going to rule the flyweight division for a long time.
