WWE is bringing a Premium Live Event to Glasgow Scotland, bringing Clash At The Castle to Scotland and the UK on June 15th with them bringing a Smackdown show the night before on the Friday also. WWE has really brought the “World” aspect to the company since the Paul Levesque Era has began where WWE has had PLEs in France, London, Cardiff, Saudi Arabia, Scotland with Clash at the Castle and Germany with the upcoming Bash at Berlin.

Many rumours and sources have stated that this event is happening purely because of one man, Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre recently renewed his contract with WWE and many people have been speculating that this was a clause in his contract that a PLE in Scotland, his home, was neccesary. Because of this, we have been blessed with this PLE at the Hydro in Glasgow where the Scottish fans will show why they are some of the best fans in the world.

Speaking of Drew McIntyre, he will go up against the current World Heavyweight Champion Damien Priest to regain the title Priest won off him at Wrestlemania, 5 minutes after McIntyre won the title against Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Drew is looking to win the world title in his home town and in the UK which he failed to do in 2022 against Roman Reigns at inaugural Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff, Wales. Drew will be looking to get rid of that defeat from the minds of the UK fans as Drew will look to beat the leader of The Judgement Day, Damien Priest to achieve this. However, there’s one man who has been a thorn in the side of Drew McIntyre since he made his unexpected return to the WWE.

CM Punk. The Voice of the Voiceless has targeted and haunted Drew McIntyre since Drew had injured Punk at the Royal Rumble which caused Punk to lose his chance to go to Wrestlemania as he had a torn tricep. Punk swept McIntyre from above the announce table at Wrestlemania and hit him with his cast which helped Priest cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase. Punk then cost McIntyre his shot at a rematch at Backlash as Punk distracted McIntyre in the fatal 4 way number one contender match at the Raw After Mania which Jey Uso pounced on and defeated Drew. He has been taunted Drew, leading him on wild goose chases and living in the mind of Drew rent free. The question is, will CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre one more time? This time, in his home, in Scotland. We will all have to wait and see.

Watch Clash at the Castle on June 15th on Peacock in the US and the WWE Network or TNT Sports Box Office in the UK. Tickets are still available for the event but I have a feeling they won’t be for much longer. We all have got to tune in to see whether Drew McIntyre can fufill his destiny at Clash at the Castle.
