His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has mended the fences between Queensberry’s Frank Warren and Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn and has got them doing consistent business with each other which we have seen in other cards including just last week when Queensberry’s Ellis Zorro faced Matchroom’s Chev Clarke. This has not stopped the professional rivalry between the two though which is why this event 5V5 is special and is one that both Eddie and Frank are desperate to win. This special attraction card was supposed to feature the highly anticipated fight between WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev but unfortunately Beterbiev got hurt and was forced to pull out which means Bivol is instead fighting Malik Zinad. That does not hinder the card at all as there is star riddled fights from the beginning to the end.
Regarding the 5v5 card, we will see Willy Hutchinson take on Craig Richards, WBA featherweight champion Raymond Ford take on Nick Ball, Hamzah Sheeraz take on Ammo Williams in a title eliminator contest, Daniel Dubois taking on Filip Hrgovic and “Big Bang” Zhilei Zhang take on the most devastating knockout artist we have ever seen in Deontay Wilder. Both Matchroom and Queensberry have picked a team captain which if they win, they will recieve double the points. Matchroom have selected Deontay Wilder whereas Queensberry has selected Hamzah Sheeraz.
The scoring is quite simple, 2 points are given if the fight is won by knockout and 1 point is given if the fight is won by decision. If there is a draw in any of the contests, which we hope does not happen, neither team will get a point. The captain of each team as previously mentioned, will recieve double points so for example if Deontay Wilder wins via decision he will recieve 2 points and if he wins via knockout, then he will recieve 4 points for team Matchroom Boxing.
Willy Hutchinson vs Craig Richards

Willy Hutchinson and Craig Richards are opening the show and it seems to be one of the most intense and personal rivalries on the card. Both men have had altercations backstage with each other and it seems to me that they both really do not like each other. Craig Richards has faced more steller competition in Bivol and Buatsi however fell short against both of them.
Result – Willy Hutchinson via Knockout
I believe that Hutchinson is the fresher fighter, coming in at 25 years old compared to Richards who is 34 years old. I also think Hutchinson has great power with 13 of his wins coming from knockout, although the competiton levels aren’t as high. I believe Hutchinson will come out fast and finish Richards within 6 rounds.
Raymond Ford vs Nick Ball – WBA Featherweight Championship

This fight here is a fight that boxing purists are going to love. Raymond Ford won his WBA world title in a clash which boxing fans will remember earlier this year, when he beat Otabek Kholmatov in the last few seconds of the fight via TKO while being down on the scorecards if the fight had gone to decision. Nick Ball had an impressive showing in a draw against Rey Vargas where many including Frank Warren believe he got robbed in that fight of a victory. Mutual respect between the two fighters have shown throughout the fight week however both fighters are ready and have called for finishes this Saturday night.
Result- Raymond Ford via Decision
I believe that this fight will be very close but I believe that Ray Ford will use his slickness to avoid some of the heavy shots that Nick Ball says he is going to inflict while using a “Mike Tyson” style of fighting according to him. So, I believe that Ford will retain his title in this contest but it will be a very close affair that I would not be surprised if many disagree with the decision.
Hamzah Sheeraz vs Ammo Williams

The captain of Team Queensberry is up next as Hamzah Sheeraz takes on Ammo Williams. Sheeraz coming from a British Pakistani background looks to follow the footsteps of his trainer’s nephew Amir Khan and become the next British Pakistani world champion but in standing in his way is Matchroom’s Austin “Ammo” Williams who is looking to get his shot at a world championship. Hamzah Sheeraz looked spectacular in his last fight against Liam Williams, knocking him down twice in the first round before the fight got called off. This fight showcased the seriously dangerous power that he has which is the reason for 15 out of the 19 fights he has had have ended via.knockout or TKO in favour of Sheeraz. Ammo Williams has promised a knockout himself and stated it will be devastating but he must watch out for the power of Sheeraz.
Result – Hamzah Sheeraz via Knockout
I believe Hamzah Sheeraz is the real deal. I think he posseses real skill, quality and attitude to become a great in this sport and to become world champion. This means, unfortuantely for Ammo Williams, Hamzah is going to showcase to the world on the biggest stage why he is a future world champion by knocking Ammo out within 7 rounds. Thus, gaining 4 points for Team Queensberry.
Daniel Dubois vs Filip Hrgovic

Daniel Dubois and Filip Hrgovic step into the ring this weekend for the chance to fight Anthony Joshua at Wembley stadium for the IBF world Heavyweight championship which will likely be vacated soon by Oleksander Usyk who submitted an extension to not be forced to vacate but is looking like will be unsuccessful in this ask. Hrgovic was keen to have this fight for the world championship and is certain that it will be however no confirmation as of yet has been made as to whether this will happen. In his last fight, Dubois beat Jarrell Miller in a highly entertaining contest by knockout which is what is hoping the result will be this Saturday. Filip Hrgovic fought on the same card last December as Dubois where he annihilated Mark De Mori in one round which many thought was mismatch of the year. Both men will be looking to go to Wembley and prehaps gain the biggest paycheck of their careers against Anthony Joshua for the IBF world heavyweight championship.
Result – Filip Hrgovic via Knockout
With this fight, I believe Hrgovic will finish Dubois maybe after the 8th round, when Daniel usually starts to fade and get tired. However, I think Daniel will cause some early trouble against Hrgovic like we saw him cause trouble against the undisputed champion Usyk where he caught him with a body shot which was deemed illegal but many, including myself, believed it was a legal strike which caused Usyk to go down. Hrgovic will move on from this fight to challenge the biggest star in heavyweight boxing Anthony Joshua in Wembley Stadium which has already been set a press conference for on June 25th per His Excellency Turki Alalshikh.
Deontay Wilder vs Zhilei Zhang

This whole event did something none of us thought would happen, Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn working closely together to put all their fighters on the line. However, it also did something else no one expected, by having Eddie Hearn and Deontay Wilder working together and on the same page. 2024 is full of surprises!
Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang both need this win or it may be the end of their careers. Zhang being 41 and coming off a loss to Joseph Parker and Wilder being 38 and also coming off a loss to Joseph Parker. Wilder and Zhang both have devastating power which has earned them 42 and 21 wins via knockout each.
Result – Deontay Wilder via Knockout
BOMB SQUAD! I believe we will see the return of a devastating Deontay Wilder knockout which could see him push himself right back into the upper echelon of heavyweight contenders. I believe Wilder will catch Zhang early on, as Zhang does not have the slickest head movement in the division to dodge the bombs that Wilder will throw. This will gain Matchroom 4 points.
Overall, I believe this card is great for boxing and I’d love to see more of these as they add real interest to the sport. Let us know what you thought about my predictions and let us know who you think is going to win in the comments.
